Default Flat footed whip, left shoulder into it, hit it with your belt buckle, WHAT???

So I'd say I'm just ok out of the sand. My buddy (same guy who "lays the club off") and his dad however, eat fried eggs for breakfast. I mean, if they have some space to work with, it's like they might as well be putting.

I asked for tips, I received gobblety gook. Here's what the younger told me:

1. Set up like you're gonna hit a 50 yard slice with a driver.
2. Put your left shoulder into it.

...and the older:

1. "Whip it" and finish as flat footed as you were at address.
2. Hit it with your belt buckle.

What in heavens name are these Mccoys talking about? I'm beginning to think they're plotting against me.

I don't think throwing the left shoulder down would do any good but make you way too

steep. Hit it with your belt buckle I think means use more pivot through the ball like DT is

doing here. That's how I interpreted it.

I like the thought of hitting it with your belt buckle, wouldn't that apply to almost all shots (sand or not)?
