Default Episode 8 YouTube and the soft draw

Ive got the SDP video, and was wondering if this is applicable to Episode 8, snapping your kinetic chain?

I had been hitting them real well using the Former Flipper instruction and Episode 8, but I got the SDP because, well it's Brian, and his stuff rocks.

So do you, or can you mix these 2 patterns? I see a lot of similarities between COAFF which I also own and Episode 8, (using your pivot to wallup the ball) but the SDP doesnt really get into hitting the ball w/ your pivot so much.

He does talk about getting over to left side, via counter fall, but does this counter fall mixed w/ the javelin toss equate to as much power as "snapping your kinetic chain" w/ your pivot?

thanks guys.....

I think Brian would say that you should snap your kinetic change with any of his patterns if you want to maximize your power, and the basic message of episode 8 is compatible with Soft Draw pattern or NHA2. In each of those patterns there is description of how you get to your left side to start the downswing, use your axis tilt throughout swing, and then deliver the snap through the ball with the arms and hands. In each of those patterns you are using your pivot to wallop the ball.

I agree 100%....I can fix a lot of things by hitting it with the pivot!

very ironic, because today in 40 degrees, I'm nuts I know, I did just what you guys said and hit the ball extremely well before I read your suggestions.

I just reared back like he does in Eps. 8 but used the SD pattern, and those ice cold balls were getting pured dudes.....

Thanks for chiming in, I appreciate it.
