| I've been scoring ok lately, and hitting greens and fairways to a decent degree, however, somehow I lost some of my compression, just haven't been striking my irons the way I use too. So I thought about when I struck my irons the best and it was with a twistaway and turn pattern. All I do is twist away on the backswing, less open face at the top and turn through the ball. I make no effort at all on the downswing to release or roll my arms and hands. Damn if I didn't start sizzling my irons again and was hitting a baby fade with my driver. Shot 1 under through the 6 holes I played. Probably looks like a similar motion to Duval. Brian, I'm surprised that you haven't marketed this pattern more.....I don't know, maybe this is the baby fade pattern ![]() |
