Default Up?

Anyone have any suggestions on getting more up in the backswing? When I manage to do it, good things happen. But I always seem to revert to too much around. Thanks.

I;ve been working on the same thing recently...

I've been OK with slightly compressing the lower left back muscles as a first move before turning...which makes the left shoulder drop lower
This also makes the spine tilt to the right, from there I simply pivot around the top of my right femur bone...
