| About a month ago, i posted a thread regarding my driving distance being about 20 yards short. My driver was flying very high. I hit this driver decent when I first purchased it (FT-5 tour, 9.5*, Fuji Fit on 360 stiff). Anyways, after a woeful day off the tee, cracked that shaft in half out of anger (and I'm not a club breaker). Brought out an old friend....Hi-BoreXL Tour, 9.5*, v2 stiff....first swing, crack....20 + extra yards and nice flight. That range session was really good. Took it out on the course and things were great. Can a driver/shaft really make that much difference?

| Are you sure it wasn't the swing?

| Great results again today. The Callaway affair lasted about 6 months. I hit it good at the beginning and then morphed into hitting a high, spinning drive. I really thought my swing was the problem until I put the Hibore XL back in the bag. I got such a great deal on the Callaway, thought I'd try it out. Glad I busted it now though.
